The tincture is prepared from the fresh root.

Common Name:  Chondrodendron Tomentosum,  Virgin-vine, Cessampelos pareira, Velvet Leaf.

• The root has a traditional use in diseases of the bladder and urinary organs.
• Causes & Symptoms for Pareira Brava
• Dribbling of urine after micturition indicates Pareira.
• It is useful in renal colic, painful urination.
• He has to get on knees and press head firmly against floor to urinate is a characteristic of Pareira.

Urinary complaints 

• Urethritis with severe pain when urinating and discharge of mucus from urethra is an indication of Pareira.
• Pains down thighs and even to feet when attempting to pass urine indicates Pareira.
• Spasm and burning in bladder, pain extending to thighs and even toes.
• Micturition difficult, with much straining only in drops, shooting pain in orifice of urethra is relieved with Pareira.
